Besides those, what are some other recommendations that you guys have? I played Grim Fandango on PS4 a while back, so I was also thinking of going with Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle, eventually.Īnd here’s an interview I did with the lead voice actor: Īnd here’s another interview I did with the development studio: I also have a bunch of the Wadjet Eye games on my wishlist (going to start with Blackwell) as well as some Daedelic games. Secondary question: Next up for me is Monkey Island (with my gf) and Lamplight City. But besides that, I don't really have too much to say that's negative about this game. For example, sometimes after learning new information, when you get into a dialogue sequence and a new option will pop up, but other times, you have to drag a particular object onto a character for a new option to pop up, and it wasn't always obvious which one it would be. I did get stuck a few times and had to look up a walk-through, because some things were a little obtuse and inconsistent. The main character really reminded me of a Nathan Drake-type character (Uncharted main character for those unfamiliar) sarcastic, but sincere. I also really liked how comedic the game was, considering the main plot is about a deadly virus. I really liked the hand-drawn style that they used. The story is tropey, but well told the voice acting is fantastic, especially the main character Harper the puzzles, are tricky, but fair and the art style, for me, was great looking. So that all being said, Unforeseen Incidents ended up being the first of these that I'd play, and I thought it was awesome. After building a PC I was looking around for games to play and realized that I've always liked adventure type games (my favorite games on PS4 are the linear, single player games: Uncharted, God of War, Horizon, etc.) and remembering that I liked the Humongous games back in the day I thought I'd do a deep-dive on PnC's. To give you an idea, the last games of this type I played were the Humongous Entertainment games (Pajama Sam was my jam! Freddi Fish and Putt-Putt were awesome too), so.yea it's been awhile. I just finished this game and thought it was great! I found this subreddit and searched but didn't see much (or any) discussion on it and wanted to hear some thoughts from others who've played it.Ī little bit of background of me before I go into my thoughts on the game: I've spent the last 15 years of my gaming life on console, so I haven't played many PnC Adventures in that time. r/adventuregamestudio - Make your own adventures.r/gamesdeal - Cheap games around the net.You can join us HERE Other subreddits you might like You should consider posting to /r/LetsPlayVideos instead of here. You may or may not be notified if your LP submission is removed - it will not be reinstated.LPs of well known games (for example any LucasArts title) are completely prohibited. You may not link to further parts in the comments. The URL must go directly to the video in question and must not link to a playlist. You may not make a separate submission with another part of an LP series until at least 7 days have passed since posting the previous part.
